Our Staff

Our staff are the biggest asset to our nursery; we ensure to invest time and resources in each member of staff to create a wonderful team who enjoy their work and are focused on meeting the needs of the children they care for and the children's families.

All our staff have qualifications in childcare and/or are working towards them. Our senior staff are also working towards management qualifications. Our nursery staff are recruited not only on the basis of their qualifications, professionalism and experience, but also for their personal qualities, character, enthusiasm, dedication and genuine love for children.

Alan Gbel - Manager

Alan has been with us since 2009 and holds a Degree in Education Studies as well as an NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development.

Sarah Shield - Duty Manager/Rose Room Leader

Sarah has been with the nursery since opening in 2007, holding posts as a nursery nurse, room leader, Manager and currently the Deputy Manager. Sarah has an NVQ Level 5 in Management. She also has an NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development.

Leanne Gornall - Duty Manager/Lilly Room Leader

Leanne has been with us since 2007 and has a CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childcare and Education, and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children's care, learning and development.

Megan Northover - Lilly Room Leader

Megan has been with us since 2014 . She has a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. She also has graduated with A Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Early Childhood.

Deanna Thompson - Daffodil Room Leader

Deanna has been with us since 2016 and has a Cache Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education.

Jess Thomas - Daffodil Room Leader

Jess Joined us in August 2017 and has her Extended diploma Childcare Learning Development Level 3 qualification.

Rebecca Faulkner - Bluebell Room Leader

Rebecca has been with us since 2017 and has a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.

Amy Choules - Bluebell Room Leader

We welcomed Amy to the team in April 2021. Amy has a first in BA Hons Childhood studies.

Kiera Fleet - Poppy Room Leader

We welcomed Kiera to the team in August 2021. Kiera has a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.

Pramita Khoju - Nursery Nurse

We welcomed Pramita to the team in 2008. Pramita has a Level 3 NVQ in children's care, learning and development.

Leoni Parry - Nursery Nurse

We welcomed Leoni to the team in September 2023

Sioned Hewitt-Smith - Nursery Nurse

We welcomed Sioned to the team in January 2024

Sheneen Knibb - Nursery Nurse

We welcomed Sheneen to the team in July 2024. Sheneen has a foundation degree in Arts in Early Years and BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing in caring services.

Dawn Simpsons - Nursery Nurse

We welcomed Dawn to the team in May 2024. Dawn has a NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development.

Helen Holmes - Nursery Nurse

We welcomed Helen to the team in October 2025. Helen has a Level 2 in Children's Care, Learning and Development and is working towards her Level 3.

Morgan Honer - Nursery Nurse

We welcomed Morgan to the team in July 2025. Morgan enjoyed some work experience with us and since then has joined our team.
