FRESH, TASTY, WHOLESOME FOOD THROUGHOUT THE DAY 


At Little Angels Nursery, everybody’s favourite part of the day is meal time. And with the tasty snacks and  lunches coming out from our kitchen, is it any wonder! 

 

Working as part of the Healthy Pre-school scheme, we ensure that the meals provided are catered specifically for nursery aged children and follow the most up-to-date and recommended guidelines on food and nutrition. 

 

Throughout the day, children are offered breakfast on arrival, a mid-morning snack, lunch and pudding as well as a mid-afternoon snack. Water is of course offered continually throughout the day. 

A TYPICAL WEEKLY MENU AT Little Angels NURSERY

We serve a  four week rolling menu to ensure a varied and balanced diet for the children. Vegetarian options are also available and we can cater for various dietary requirements.

We liquidise and mash food for babies and to help young toddlers when appropriate.

Vegetables or a side dish  accompany every meal, including cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, leek, sweetcorn, mushy peas and baked beans.

  

After lunch the children enjoy a variety of daily puddings accompanied with fruits such as upside down cake, semolina, rice pudding, apple/fruit crumble, yoghurt, home-made mousse.
